# See what a project has spent against its budget

A project has a budget. Knowing whether you are inside it should not require exporting anything.

## See what a project has spent against its budget

A project with a contract value now shows **Budget vs actual**: billed to date, a projection to the end of the engagement, and what is left. Every point on the chart names its month and amount on hover, and the month in progress is drawn as part fact and part forecast, because that is what it is.

Visible to people who can see financials on the project.

## The adjustment window is 48 hours, and says so

The window to request an hour adjustment is **48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays**. It was described as "2 business days", which people read several different ways depending on which day the week started.

The deadline now appears on the billing week itself and does not depend on which timezone your browser is in.

Spend is hours already billed plus hours booked but not yet worked, so the number answers "where will this land", not just "where has this been".
