This is the blog for Prilet, where we write about the product and the problem it's built to solve: the manual work still sitting inside most consulting engagements, from tracking hours to reconciling a subcontractor's invoice.

Most of what you'll find here is the changelog. We write the entry the same day a change ships, in the same commit — so it reflects what actually went out rather than a summary assembled later. If you want to follow what's changing and why, this is the fastest way to do it.

We also publish longer pieces on the mechanics behind the product: why a billing week isn't a timesheet, what makes a subcontracted invoice chain hard to get right, and other questions that come up in running consulting work generally, whether or not you use Prilet.
