A consultant can be on more than one firm's bench

One consultant, placed by more than one firm, each running its own arrangement.

A good consultant is rarely exclusive. They might be on your bench and on another firm's, placed through whichever finds the work first — and Prilet used to assume that could not happen.

A subcontractor can hold arrangements with several primes at once, and be placed by any of them. What they are paid is set on the placement being sold, not once on the bench — so each engagement is priced on its own merits, above the floor both sides agreed.

Expenses do not arrive on the same rhythm as hours. A flight booked in August might not be routed for billing until September, and until now the invoice would go out the moment it was mapped — landing on a client mid-month, out of step with everything else they receive

A subcontractor can have an address inside your world

A subcontractor is a company you pay, and a company you pay needs an address — on the invoice, in the remittance, in your books. Until now that address had to live somewhere else. Subcontractors sign in to Prilet as themselves, but most of them hold an address on your domain
